i started this site in january of nineteen ninety nine, age 18, so i could use my html-coding knowledge to show off my writing, and in so doing make myself write more. the site grew to contain two and a half novels, twenty-six stories, over two hundred poems, and over six hundred journal entries.

the problem with having such a ginormous site that was hand-coded is a. it was a bitch to update, b. it was nearly impossible to renovate, and c. after a point it was obsolete.  also, my starting arts school in 2005 didn't help; neither did my computer dying at the end of '05.

but today (november of two thousand nine, newly age 29) i decided to put it back up.  only journal entries for now, but hopefully poetry soon.
